Script starter

A quiet story opening

A short voiceover: let the scene unfold, then give the last line room.

Inspect the script and direction

پنجره را باز کرد. بوی باران در اتاق پیچید. روی شاخهٔ خشک، یک جوانهٔ سبز پیدا شده بود. برای اولین بار بعد از آن زمستان بلند، لبخند زد.

Director’s notes

Read this original Iranian Persian story quietly and warmly. Let the scene unfold at a measured pace. Pause briefly before the final sentence; let its smile sound hopeful, not theatrical.

Script starter

A listening lesson

Listen for the change of plan. Why did Leila and her brother go to the library?

Inspect the script and direction

قرار بود لیلا و برادرش جمعه به پارک بروند. صبح باران می‌بارید، پس به کتابخانه رفتند. لیلا یک کتاب دربارهٔ پرندگان پیدا کرد و برادرش داستان کوتاهی خواند. ساعت دو، وقتی باران بند آمد، با هم به خانه برگشتند.

Director’s notes

Read this Iranian Persian classroom listening passage clearly and naturally. Use an unhurried pace and brief sentence pauses. Keep the delivery conversational, not theatrical; do not add an introduction or explanation.

Two speakers

Two people in a garden

Three turns, two voices. Give each person their own delivery without speaking their name.

Inspect the script and direction

ببین، روی این شاخه یک جوانه هست. فکر می‌کردم این درخت خشک شده است! هنوز زنده است. بهار از همین‌جا شروع می‌شود.

Director’s notes

A calm Iranian Persian narrator noticing a small sign of spring. Warm, close and restrained.

An Iranian Persian garden visitor, curious and pleasantly surprised. Speak naturally, without shouting.

Persian speech starts with the reading

Everyday Persian normally omits short vowels and often leaves Ezafe unwritten. Use Marked Persian to explore those contextual cues on the original letters, then return to Speech to hear the passage. You can also go straight from your Persian text to audio.

Try a real Basic Voice before signing in

Choose Kian or Leyla, paste your Persian, and listen. Adjust playback speed to suit your ear, with consistent voice choices on your phone, tablet, and computer.

Download and keep the audio you make

Download finished audio from either voice tier. When you are signed in, you can also save Premium recordings to your private library, then play, rename, download, or delete them from your account.

One passage. Every way to work with it.

Make a Persian recording, explore vowel marks or Pinglish, translate, look into word origins, and ask VowelMarks AI. Your text stays with you as you move between tools.

Why VowelMarks for Persian TTS?

Persian audio, with the reading tools beside it

An audio file gives you something to hear. VowelMarks also gives you ways to understand the Persian behind it: contextual vowel marks and Ezafe, Pinglish pronunciation, translation, and answers about the same passage. Direct the voice in Speech, inspect a word in another tab, and come back without pasting your text again.

That makes VowelMarks especially useful when Persian pronunciation, visible reading cues, and the connection between script and sound matter—not just receiving an audio file.

Premium Voice

Direct the Persian performance, not just the playback

Turn your Farsi script into a lesson, a story, or a voiceover with a voice you can direct. Premium Voice combines Persian-aware pronunciation with natural, expressive delivery and a Studio built around your text.

Find the voice for your text

Audition Persian voice samples, then choose clear reading, storytelling, or news—or build the delivery yourself in Custom Voice Studio.

Describe the performance in your own words

In Custom Voice Studio, direct the character, setting, energy, articulation, pauses, breath, and mood. For example: warm and close to the microphone, deliberate, with a short pause before the final line.

Direct the moments that matter

Add a pause at the turning point, emphasize a phrase, or give a line a happy, gentle, dramatic, or whispered delivery. Insert a cue where it belongs in the Persian text.

Set the speaking pace. Change the listening speed.

Choose how deliberately the narrator speaks when you generate. Adjust playback speed as you listen to the finished recording.

Follow and keep the result

Follow the spoken words in the marked Persian, download your audio, and keep signed-in Premium recordings in your personal library.

Give your dialogue two distinct speakers

Assign each passage to a speaker. Build a conversation, a story exchange or a two-voice lesson, then hear the whole script as one recording.

Use it as a natural Persian text reader for pronunciation practice, turn Farsi text into audio for a lesson, or direct storytelling, narration, and voiceover drafts without losing the marked Persian.

From script to finished audio

Make something with your Persian voice

Start with the project you have in mind. These guides include scripts, direction examples and practical checks—not just a list of voice settings.

Listening lessons

Turn a Persian passage into a listening activity with questions and an answer key.

Common questions

Persian and Farsi text to speech

Find your voice, direct the performance, and keep the Persian script connected to the sound.

Can I use Persian text to speech without an account?

Yes. Enjoy a complimentary Premium Voice allowance for your own Persian text without an account. When the promotional allowance is used, create a free account to continue with your account's allowance. Basic Voice remains available without an account.

Can I check Persian vowel marks and pronunciation alongside the audio?

Yes. Open Marked Persian to add contextual short vowels and Ezafe to your original text, or Pinglish to see its pronunciation in Latin letters. You can generate speech directly from your Persian text or prepare a marked reading first, then listen from the Speech tab. Your passage stays with you between tools.

Which Persian voices and controls are available?

Basic Voice offers Kian and Leyla with adjustable playback speed. Premium Voice adds expressive, human-like Persian narration, voice previews, clear-reading, storytelling and news presets, and Custom Voice Studio. Choose a voice and delivery, set the speaking pace, and use Director’s notes and inline cues to shape emotion, emphasis, pauses and reactions.

Can I download the Persian audio?

Yes. After speech has been prepared, the web tool provides a download control for the generated audio.

Can I use VowelMarks for Persian voiceovers and listening lessons?

Yes. Paste your Persian script, choose a voice, and use Premium Voice presets or Custom Voice Studio to direct the performance. Add cues for particular phrases, listen to the result, and download the audio for your project. The voiceover and teacher guides below show how to build a narration or a listening exercise from the same text.

What is the difference between speaking pace and playback speed?

Speaking pace directs how the narrator performs a new recording. Playback speed changes how quickly you hear audio that has already been made, without generating it again. Use speaking pace for the performance and playback speed for listening or review.

Is this only a Farsi voice generator?

VowelMarks combines a Persian voice generator with a complete reading workspace. Generate and keep audio, explore marked Persian and Pinglish pronunciation, translate, inspect word origins, or ask VowelMarks AI about the same passage. Each tool works with your original Persian text.

Can I create Persian dialogue with two speakers?

Yes. In Premium Voice, choose Add speaker and select the second voice. Assign each passage to its speaker and direct individual moments with inline cues. Set each speaker’s delivery, speaking pace and Director’s notes within that script.

Learn why Persian voices choose a wrong reading, repair a pronunciation problem, direct mood and delivery, or follow the Persian voiceover workflow.
